Georgia-native Gabriel Cross, is a Los Angeles-based contemporary singer-songwriter-producer who specializes in pop, dance, R&B and gospel music. He writes about real, everyday emotions and situations that people can easily relate to. He has the unique ability to write about love and the shared emotions we all feel in the search for peace, joy, and happiness. Early in his life, music was the driving force for young Gabriel. At age five, he started his musical journey with his first set of drums purchased by his mother. Gabriel loved to sing for his family and neighbors and formed local bands with neighborhood friends who also had an interest in music. In the third grade, he enrolled in his first music class and studied music through high school graduation. During his school years, he received many honors and accolades, including All-District and All-State Choral member. After graduating from high school, he received an offer to audition for the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. However, due to a tragedy in his family, Gabriel lost his passion for music and instead of auditioning for Berklee he decided on a journalism career and enrolled at Georgia Southern College (now Georgia Southern University) in Statesboro, GA. After graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism degree, Gabriel moved to Miami, Florida. After a successful journalism career, in 2004 Gabriel – who in 1998 became a songwriter for PKA Entertainment Group – along with his business partner P.B. Floyd moved to Los Angeles and formed IMI World, a film packaging company. But, in 2006, Gabriel and Floyd mutually decided to end their partnership and Gabriel started 2Dream Entertainment and JEBE Records and began serious work on his musical future. In 2008, he formed a musical partnership with songwriter-producer Dominique “Piermid” Wilson of BMH/Middiwest Music, who was tutored by R. Kelly and has worked with such artists as R&B heavyweights Rome, Tyrese, and Tank. From that partnership was born Gabriel’s first music release, Revelations – which received worldwide distribution in 2011. But, once again, tragedy struck in Gabriel’s life, and he took some time off from music. In 2016, Gabriel felt the time was right to get back to his passion and made the commitment that regardless of what tragedies came his way he was determined to do what he feels he is purposed to do – create music. In addition to being the owner of JEBE Records and 19th Street Publishing, Gabriel also is the owner of TiMiLA Productions (a music and film production company).
